My journey of resilience, faith, and advocacy for change.
Welcome!
This is my blog! A page where I upload monthly about my experience with bullying and hate and how I was able to turn that into passion and advocacy. Each month, along with the post, there will be a photo of the sun, the light, in the dark, the constant. These monthly uploads will include stories, op-eds, features, interviews, and more. I aim to make this a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing their story. I know what it feels like to think there is no way things could ever get better. I've been there, so I aim to show that things do get better, by working to make things better, and help others turn their pain and sorrow into action. Below you can find information about me and even further down you can find my posts.
My name is Noah Adler. I am 15, live in Mamaroneck, New York, and attend the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry. Previously, I lived in Rye, New York, and attended Rye Middle School, and that is where I had my first real experience with bullying and anti-semitism. At 13 years old, I was taunted, made fun of, and pushed to my lowest point because of my faith. Even if it took time, brick by brick, step by step, I was able to come back stronger than before. I was able to turn my pain into passion, New York Senate Bill 6871. I will talk more about my experiences throughout my blog, but I wanted to provide a precursor and background of what inspired me to create this page. My aspiration for this blog is that it can serve as a symbol of hope and inspiration and that my story can help others struggling like I was by showing them the light, the endless possibilities. So, without further ado, here is my blog.
